Ora Yoga uses yoga as a vehicle for clients to gain self-esteem, deal with stress, anxiety and depression.
Ora Yoga uses traditional hatha yoga techniques such as:
- Asana (physical postures)
- Pranayama (breathing techniques)
- Dharana (concentration techniques)
- Dhyana (meditation techniques)
Nichola applies these techniques in her classes and workshops to encourage clients to become intune with themselves, discover what they are needing in the present moment and learn to give themselves the time and love they deserve.
Nichola takes a gentle approach in her yoga classes, workshops and retreats, making them accessible to everyone. Some classes are provided for specific groups and when this is the case they are clearly labelled.
Close to Ora Yoga's heart is helping survivors of domestic violence, it is Nichola's goal to provide retreats easily accessible to survivors of domestic violence, with cost not being a barrier. In each retreat there will be a place available for a referred survivor. In the future Nichola aims to provide whole retreats for survivors.
